You will also visit Canne della Battaglia, famous for the battle in 216 B.C. between the Romans and Hannibal troops, and Canosa, with its rich archaeological park, ending the day in Bari, capital of Puglia. After a morning in Gravina, prosperous centre during the Neolithic and under the Roman domination, you will move on to Altamura, where a pre-historic man skeleton - named "The Man of Altamura" and dating back to 200-300k years ago - was found along with dynosaurs footprints.
