This bed and breakfast is located in Marittima, a small village in the province of Lecce, along the coastline Otranto-Santa Maria di Leuca, 700 meters from the sea.

The original building, dating back to the beginning of '900 and home of a farmer, preserves the original appearance characterized by stone vaults and inner courtyard.

The courtyard has stone columns supporting a trellis of vines between trees of orange, lemon and tangerine.

Guests can also spend time in a large room which houses the tools and grinding stones of the old mill, in local dialect "trappitu".

In this backdrop of history and culture of Salento, Trappitu dei Settimi offers warm hospitality, a comfortable stay in its spacious rooms and a breakfast rich in local and genuine products.

Rooms

Trappitu dei Settimi has 6 double rooms, once used as barn, rooms for cheese production, oil storage and home of the former owner. Each room has a stone plaque with the old name.

All rooms have private entrance, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, TV and Internet Point. They all overlook the porch and the courtyard with pergola. Sofas and chairs are in the shade of vines and trees for outdoor entertaining.
