Corte Altavilla Hotel is a residential complex dating back to the Normans time, which has been beautifully restored and converted into a charming 4 star hotel.
The hotel has preserved its original architectural elements such as stone floors and walls, making it a warm and welcoming location.

Goffredo Restaurant, named after the Earl Geoffrey of Altavilla and available upon reservation only, is located on the attic and offers a wonderful view of the Romanesque Cathedral of Conversano. The chef creates every course with seasonal ingredients, purchased daily at the city market, and the wine list, which is updated yearly, includes carefully selected wineries from Puglia.
Breakfast is served in a stone room on the ground floor or directly in your room.
Recently opened, the Sibilla Thermarium Spa wellness centre takes its name from the Earl Geoffrey´s daughter, Sibilla d´Altavilla, who became Duchess of Normandy as wife of Robert II of Normandy and was buried in the cathedral of Rouen in France. The Spa is located in the ancient cellars of the court, all built with local stone, and, like the ancient Roman baths, has tepidarium, caldarium, frigidarium as well as jacuzzi, relaxation and massage area.
Corte Altavilla also hosts conferences and events for up to 100 people in its two meeting rooms featuring stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Technical equipment and catering services are available.

Top Suite: accommodates 4 people. Very large (70 sqm) and bright, consists of several adjoining rooms: 2 double beds, 2 separate bathrooms and a private balcony. It has a large circular jacuzzi.
Top Junior Suite: accommodates 2 people, bright room with jacuzzi.
Junior Suite: accommodates 2 people. It combines white stone and wood and overlooks the cathedral. The sitting room has a kitchenette hidden in a cupboard.
Top Standard: accommodates 3 people in 2 separate rooms. Wrought iron beds, stone walls and wooden beams, kitchenette hidden in a cupboard.
Standard: accommodates 2 people. Stone walls, wrought iron beds, wooden furniture and a small kitchenette.
Sottano: accommodates 2 people. Once used as craft shops, barns and cellars, they are located on the ground floor and have stone floors and vaulted ceilings. Equipped with a kitchenette.
Apartment: accommodates 4 people. Two bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette hidden in a cupboard. The bathroom has a dressing room with sink. Wrought iron furnishings and large windows.

From Bari airport, take the freeway SS. 16 direction Brindisi. Then, after 40 Kilometres,take the gate called Cozze - Conversano. direction Conversano and after 8 Kilometres you will arrive in town. Once in Conversano, go toward the historic centre, exactly to the square of the
castle. Cross the square by car (there is a cathedral) and in front of the cathedral�s main entrance there is Corte Altavilla relais.
It is possible to arrive by car, then, once at the reception, we will give you the information for parking.

From the airport of Brindisi, take the way S.S. 16 direction Bari. Then after km 80, you�ll find the gate Polignano a Mare - Conversano (it is the last one of Polignano a Mare, after Polignano - Castellana Grotte). Take it direction Conversano. After km 8, you will arrive in Conversano. Go straight and at the end of the way, turn on the right. Go up to the square of the castle, cross the square. You will see a cathedral. The hotel Corte Altavilla is just in front of the cathedral’s main entrance.
It is possible to arrive by car; once here the receptionists will give you information about the parking.
