The winery is located in the heart of Itria Valley, not far from Alberobello, and was founded in the late 60th by the Colucci family. It is currently managed by their sons who keep up the company´s prestige with enthusiasm and expertise. The cellar is carved into the limestone where only quality wines are produced and stored.
The grapes used to make white, rose and red wines are Primitivo, black Malvasia and white Malvasia.
After bottling, each label is stored for 6 to 18 months in the 13 metres deep underground halls, which ensure constant humidity and temperature.
You will walk between narrow corridors, oak barrels and settling tanks and then go back and taste the company´s wines accompanied by typical products: cured meat, cheese, jam, bread and tomato, almond cookies.
The winery is open daily, including Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm.
