Exactly, it´s called Le Relais Masseria Cesine! Relais Masseria Le Cesine is next to the WWF nature reserve of "The Cesine" and close to some of the most important cultural centres of Salento, such as Otranto and Lecce and some of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Adriatic coast.
Relais Masseria Le Cesine is made up of a hotel with rooms on one level and an old renovated farmhouse, nestled in an olive grove, with rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant and spa. With its sandy beach and the natural surroundings, Relais Masseria Le Cesine is an ideal solution for those who want a holiday in close contact with nature while enjoying the comfort and attention of a 4 Star Hotel.
A shady tree-lined avenue leads to the original Masseria Termolito, immersed in an olive grove, the real heart of the Relais Masseria Le Cesine, some rooms have classic vaulted ceilings, there is a stylish restaurant, the small and elegant spa and some decorated rooms furnished in a simple and elegant country style.
The farmhouse is one of the various buildings whose construction dates back to the seventeenth century called Masseria Termolito, the name comes from the place where it stands. Around the middle of ´700 the main structure was built, which is the core of the Relais Masseria Cesine, from the typical courtyard with a central body and two lateral wings, which in the past housed the stables. The farm is described in a 1814 contract, which has a summary of the farm animals.
The traditional farmyard is impressive, situated opposite the main entrance of the farm, with the typical circular shape characteristic of Salento farms and paving bricks laid dry according to ancient building techniques. The courtyard was the centre of work and social life of the farm, important work was done there, such as wheat threshing, which always culminated in a party. The ‘pizzica’ was played and everyone celebrated together the end of the job. In keeping with tradition the courtyard of the Relais will be the scene of concerts and folk dancing from Salento under the starry summer sky.

Relais Masseria Cesine has the following rooms: Comfort 2 /4 beds (some with two bathrooms, one of them for disabled guests) with double bed and bunk bed and Suite 2 + 2 (entrance with double sofa bed (pull out) and double bedroom) equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, minibar. There are also Classic rooms in the old farmhouse. Classic Comfort 2/ 4 beds and Classic Clussic Deluxe 2 + 2 with double sofa bed in the sitting room and a bedroom with a double bed.
Other information
The large restaurant ‘L’oasi dei Sapori’ offers typical dishes from Salento daily and national and international dishes, with a buffet service with a water, wine and soft drink dispenser. Among the many proposals, you can choose the inviting "Salto Pasta" for lunch and dinner, enjoy the authentic taste of the local cuisine at the ‘Salentine’ dinner, or the ‘braceria’ (grilled) evening where many tasty meat and fish dishes will served. You can also dine under the stars in the open restaurant.
